Bubble Bobble is a cute and challenging arcade video game consisting of two bubble shaped dragons Bubble and Bobble. The popularity of the game demanded home use and enjoyment, and many popular game consoles were the destination port for these versions. Players navigate the bubble dragon one at a time, blowing bubbles and annihilating bubble dragon enemies. There is no restart value or “new life” point, enemy contact expires the dragon.
Bubble Bobble is one of many strategy games that keep people occupied and challenge users on a whole new level. The generic motif allowed hundreds of game stages or “worlds. The natural weapons the dragons enjoy are the spines along its back. The enemies get pinkish red in “anger” when they are the last remaining and agitate much faster. Since Bubble Bobble predates the personal computer or cellphone, specific port versions (GameBoy, Nintendo, Sega) need to be obtained. But fans remain loyal to Bubble Bobble.
